Србија е земја-кандидатка за членство во Европската Унија. ЕУ е главниот политички и економски партнер на Србија, како и нејзин најголем давател на финансиска помош. Европската Унија тесно соработува со Србија со цел да ѝ помогне на својот пат кон ЕУ преку исполнување на европските стандарди. Ваквата соработка покрива бројни сфери; како на пример: зацврстување на владеењето на правото и борбата против криминал, подобрување на човековите права и деловното окружување и други.
Истовремено, финансиската поддршка на ЕУ во домени како што се заштита на животната средина, инфраструктура, деловна конкурентност, образование, култура и многу други, резултира со бројни придобивки и можности за граѓаните на Србија.
Youth4Regions is the European Commission’s initiative designed to educate journalism students and young journalists about the EU’s impact in their regions. The programme offers comprehensive training, mentorship with top journalists, participation in EU Regions’ Week, and visits to EU media headquarters and institutions, along with a chance to join European Commission press trips. All accommodation, food, and travel expenses are covered by the programme. Applicants should have a keen interest in EU activities, a background in journalism (through education or up to 2 years of professional experience), be citizens of the EU or neighbouring countries aged between 18 and 30, and be available from 5 to 11 October 2024. The application period is open from 8 April until 8 July, 17:00 CET. Interested candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in journalism to be eligible.
