The global objective of this call for proposals is to promote and protect: (i) human rights and fundamental freedoms; (ii) democracy; and (iii) the rule of law and to strengthen participatory democracies and the EU integration and approximation process in Serbia, through an enhanced contribution by civil society.
The Young Cells project is funded by the European Union under IPA II 2020. It will give to 25 civil servants the opportunity to participate to a capacity-building programme, including practical training, mentoring sessions, seminars, workshops and study visits and internships in 5 EU Member States schools and public administrations. The project will support Albanian Government in the civil service reform through the development and implementation of a training/internship programme dedicated to young civil servants.
Cultural organisations regularly organising artistic and creative activities or/and those that have the capacity to implement an international artistic and cultural residency project may apply. The first call for residency hosts under the Culture Moves Europe mobility scheme opens on 15 March. The call provides financial support to organisations and individual artists registered as a legal entity that want to host international artists and cultural professionals for a residency project.
The Call is open to ministries, municipalities, agencies, tourism and cultural organizations, public and private bodies that support the workforce, institutions for professional and technical training, nature protection organizations, schools, faculties, universities and research centres, training institutions as well as non-profit organizations from Montenegro and Albania, which can apply for funds in partnership with entities from the program area.
The EU Award for Investigative Journalism 2023 is now accepting submissions. Once again, the prestigious award celebrates the best investigative stories published in the previous calendar year and open to journalists from the Western Balkans and Türkiye. The annual award fund for each of the countries is 10,000 euros and the prize fund for regional awards is also 10,000 euros. The three best stories of the year are awarded, and the amount for national and regional prizes is 5,000 euros (first place), 3,000 (second), and 2,000 (third)
The successful applicant will benefit from the financial support for investments boosting the local economy, but also will be able to enhance their managerial, technical, and business capacities, improve business performance in terms of turnover, export potential and profit and therefore create new jobs.
