Andrra Kelmendi

Andrra Kelmendi is a psychology student at Humboldt University of Berlin, originally from Kosovo. Having moved to Germany at the age of five as a child of migrants, she has navigated various challenges growing up. Aware of her privileges, Andrra is committed to using them to support development in the Balkans.

She believes mental health is a fundamental priority for sustainable development and well-being. Her goal is to raise mental health awareness across the region, break down stigma, and foster a society that values mental well-being as much as physical health.

Artiola Limani

Country: Kosovo Interests: Human Rights

Artiola is an English student at AAB College, currently in her final year, and also studies Food Science and Biotechnology at UBT in Prishtina. Throughout her studies, she has consistently demonstrated strong performance across her subjects.

For over six years, Artiola has volunteered at the Youth Center ‘Ardhmeria,’ an experience that has intellectually shaped her and helped develop valuable skills she had not encountered before. She has worked with diverse groups of people, organized youth-related activities, and participated in numerous educational workshops.

Edlira Dibrani

Country: Kosovo Interests: Climate and Environment

Edlira is a passionate educator, marketing specialist, and youth activist dedicated to nurturing the potential of young people in Kosovo. With five years of experience working with students aged 5 to 18, she actively leads youth-focused initiatives at the Finnish School of Kosovo.

Her work centers on preparing a skilled and adaptable generation, inspired by educational models from Western countries such as Finland, ready to face an unpredictable future and drive positive societal change. Edlira finds great motivation in contributing to the growth of young minds, believing that Kosovo’s future shines bright through their potential.

Eljesa Maxhuni

Eljesa Maxhuni is a Young European Ambassador (YEA) from Kosovo and a psychology student, passionate about understanding human behavior and promoting mental well-being. Tringa Thaqi

Country: Kosovo

Interests: Rule of Law and Human Rights, Climate and Environment, Health and Sustainability

Tringa Thaqi is a Young European Ambassador from Kosovo and a Law graduate, with a strong focus on the rule of law, good governance and youth participation in policymaking. Her academic work includes the research paper “Lifelong Maintenance Contract in Kosovo: Regulatory Framework, Implementation, and Judicial Challenges,” the first comprehensive study of its kind in the country, contributing to the national legal and policy discourse. She has complemented her academic background with practical experience through several internships in public institutions, most recently at the Basic Court of Pristina, where she gained direct insight into judicial practice and institutional functioning. In parallel, Tringa is actively engaged in youth policy and civic participation. She serves as Coordinator of the Rule of Law and Good Governance Team at the Youth Council within the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, General Secretary of the Youth Assembly of Kosovo and a member of the UN Youth Task Force. She has contributed to and supported the organization of various youth-focused initiatives, including the UN Youth Assembly in Kosovo, the Kosovo Youth Event (KYE) – Second Edition and programs such as the “YouthIn for Gender Equality Fundamentals” Bootcamp. Through her work, she remains committed to empowering young people, strengthening democratic values and supporting Kosovo’s European perspective.

Sara Çeshko

Country: Kosovo Interests: International Relations

Sara Çeshko is a young activist from the Bosniak community and former representative of the Kosovo Youth Council (Prishtina Municipality), deeply committed to youth rights. She has actively contributed to events focused on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and reconciliation.

Sara aspires to be the change young people seek by fostering safe and inclusive environments where diverse perspectives come together, empowering youth to use their voices for positive impact. Often described as a mediator, she believes dialogue is the most effective way to resolve challenges.

A skilled public speaker and fast learner, Sara is dedicated to initiatives that drive meaningful social progress.

Aja Gashi

Country: Kosovo Interests: International Relations
Aja Gashi is a Young European Ambassador from Kosovo, deeply engaged in political science and international relations, with a particular focus on Kosovo’s diplomatic development and foreign policy advancement. Her professional interests center on strengthening Kosovo’s international position and contributing to the strategic evolution of its external affairs.
Her experience includes working with NGOs, international organizations, and local institutions through various internships, where she has supported projects related to youth engagement, public communication, and community development. She was part of the organizing team of the United Nations Youth Assembly in Kosovo, helping facilitate cooperation between youth, institutions, and international partners. She is the founder and co-organizer of “EU and Me: Kosovo’s Vision,” an initiative designed to encourage meaningful youth engagement with European values, governance, and integration. Aja is also an active member of the Kosovo Youth Assembly, where she contributes to youth inclusion, dialogue, and civic participation. Aja has strengthened her academic and intercultural foundation through several regional and international programs, including the Dialogue Academy Network organized by OSCE Mission in Kosovo, and OSCE Mission in Serbia, the University of Graz International Summer School, Erasmus initiatives, and the UNDP & UNFPA Regional Peacebuilding Fellowship. Across her work, she remains committed to promoting dialogue, expanding opportunities for young people, and contributing to Kosovo’s broader role within the European and international community. Teodora Ružić

Country: Bosnia and Herzegovina Interests: Human Rights

Teodora is a 20-year-old psychology student currently studying at ELTE University in Budapest. She has been an active human rights advocate for nearly five years, beginning her journey with UNICEF through the Upshift workshop. Teodora represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the European Youth Event 2023 in Strasbourg and co-created a focus group discussion for the Empowering Futures 2024 initiative in Brussels.

Her commitment to social issues is reflected in multiple courses she has completed with UNICEF on democracy, human rights, feminism, and mental health. Beyond activism, Teodora is engaged in various social circles, has practiced theatre since age 12, volunteered at film festivals, and pursued numerous courses. Her poetry has also been published multiple times, highlighting her creative side.

Petar Spaić

Country: Bosnia and Herzegovina Interests: Education and Sports

Petar Spaić is a 23-year-old graduate student specializing in Applied Computer Science at the University of Montenegro, currently based in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. For over eight years, he has been actively involved in competitive cycling, representing Bosnia and Herzegovina in both mountain and road disciplines. Petar is a multiple-time national champion and runner-up and has competed in European and Balkan championships.

In addition to his athletic achievements, Petar contributes to youth advocacy as a member of the Youth Advisory Boards for the British and Swiss Embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, advising on youth-related issues and participating in various embassy initiatives. Outside of academics and advocacy, he works as a licensed adventure travel guide during the summer, specializing in cycling, hiking, sailing, and rafting, combining his passion for sport and nature.

Emina Pašanović

Country: Bosnia and Herzegovina Interests: Climate and Environment

Emina is a passionate advocate for sustainable development, democratization, and climate action. Since 2014, she has contributed to projects focused on EU integration, green entrepreneurship, environmental policy, and sustainability. As a young entrepreneur in green tech, she won a climate hackathon and was honored as the “Hero of the Generation in Ecology” in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Emina is also a Max Thabiso Edkins Climate Ambassador with the Global Youth Climate Network and a former trainee at the University of Oxford’s Global Youth Climate Training Programme.

A BOLD Fellow and mentor in green entrepreneurship, Emina is dedicated to supporting young leaders. She is a member of IRI’s Generation Democracy Network and was elected to the Forum Alpbach Network Committee, where she promotes youth engagement in European political and civic life. In 2024, she contributed a chapter to the European Forum Alpbach book, exploring the cultural significance of Bosnian coffee as a symbol of connection and resilience. Emina has represented Bosnia globally, participating in major events such as the Council of Europe’s World Forum for Democracy and the Young Ambassador Summit in Brussels.
