North Macedonia, with the support of the EU, is undertaking a comprehensive improvements needed to progress towards EU membership, such as strengthening the rule of law and improving public administration. In this way, the EU is working with North Macedonia towards a more prosperous future for its citizens.

The Women TechEU programme, supported by Horizon Europe, empowers women-led deep tech start-ups with a €75,000 grant and a six-month business development programme. Open to 160 early-stage start-ups across the EU and associated countries, the programme provides access to mentors, investor outreach, pitch preparation, and soft skills training. Additional support includes guidance on sales strategy, environmental impact assessment, and corporate connections to help scale businesses effectively. Applicants must be women-led start-ups operating in deep tech sectors such as AI, biotech, or clean-tech, and meet specific eligibility criteria. The application deadline is 30 September 2024, 17:00 Brussels time.
The #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards under the Erasmus+ Programme is now open for submissions, inviting projects that empower and enhance the participation of women and girls in sports. This prestigious award celebrates inspiring role models who champion gender equality, turning ideals into reality and setting a powerful example for others. Applicants are encouraged to showcase their innovative approaches that make a tangible impact in promoting inclusivity in sports. The deadline for submissions is 25 September 2024.
