Short description: Horizon Europe Cluster 2 has several 2026 calls open until 23 September, covering Democracy and Governance, Cultural Heritage and the Cultural and Creative Industries, and Social and Economic Transformations. Topics include post-conflict democracy, sustainable media, gender-based violence, child poverty, green-transition skills and creative-sector innovation.

Why relevant for WeBalkans?
All six Western Balkan countries are associated to Horizon Europe, meaning eligible entities can participate in programme actions on equal terms with EU entities. The themes also closely match EU enlargement priorities around democracy, inclusion, culture and socio-economic convergence.

Short description: Perform Europe supports partnerships that rethink cross-border touring in theatre, dance, performance, circus, outdoor arts, puppetry and related performing arts. Projects must involve at least three partners from three Creative Europe countries and present at least one finished work in at least three countries.

Why relevant for WeBalkans?
Excellent regional publication candidate: all six Western Balkan economies participate in Creative Europe, making this a genuinely region-wide opportunity with clear EU funding.
