The autumn 2026 DiscoverEU round is confirmed to open from 1–15 October. It offers 18-year-olds in eligible countries a travel pass to explore Europe, normally by rail, together with a discount card for accommodation, culture, transport and other activities.

GOTOTWIN will select up to six participants to test and validate digital-twin solutions for renewable-energy systems. Experiments can address solar, wind, hydropower, storage, AI/data analytics, energy communities and related topics, using living-lab infrastructure and consortium support.

Perform Europe supports partnerships that rethink cross-border touring in theatre, dance, performance, circus, outdoor arts, puppetry and related performing arts. Projects must involve at least three partners from three Creative Europe countries and present at least one finished work in at least three countries.

The 2026 COST Open Call invites researchers and innovators to propose new interdisciplinary COST Actions. COST Actions fund pan-European research networking rather than research itself, supporting meetings, training schools, short-term scientific missions and other collaboration activities. Up to 80 new Actions are expected to be funded.

The 2026 Horizon Europe Cluster 3 call on a Disaster Resilient Society supports research and innovation to reduce losses from natural, accidental and human-made disasters. Five topics cover areas including innovative search-and-rescue tools and the uptake of disaster-risk solutions. The indicative budget is EUR 32.5 million.

The 2026 Horizon Europe call ‘Better Protect the EU and its Citizens against Crime and Terrorism’ funds research and innovation across six topics, including law-enforcement responses to climate-related challenges and protecting citizens from terrorist attacks in public spaces. The indicative budget is EUR 40.67 million.

The 2026 CERV Daphne call supports projects preventing and combating gender-based violence and violence against children. Priorities include prevention, victim protection and support, implementation of European legal frameworks, integrated child-protection systems and financial support to grassroots civil society organisations.

The 2026 call supports research and innovation in smarter border monitoring, easier and more accessible travel, and reliable age checks for border security. Indicative budget: EUR 21.33 million.

The 2026 SSRI call supports cross-cutting security research and innovation, with three topics covering SME innovation, preparation for future pre-commercial procurement of security technologies, and demand-led innovation in security. Indicative budget: EUR 13.83 million.

The 2026 MSCA Doctoral Networks call supports international partnerships that develop innovative doctoral programmes and train doctoral candidates across all scientific fields. Consortia can bring together universities, research institutions, businesses, SMEs, public-sector organisations and other socio-economic actors.

This Horizon Europe Cluster 6 call supports additional activities for the European Partnership of Agriculture of Data. It sits within the Green Deal-oriented Cluster 6 programme and has an indicative budget of EUR 23 million, with proposals due on 26 November 2026.
