From 24 to 26 July, Young European Ambassadors joined the 5th Spirit Weekend Festival in Maglaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, celebrating another successful edition of this growing regional event. Bringing together young people from across the Western Balkans, the festival offered an insightful programme of film, music and discussions, creating a platform for meaningful dialogue, new friendships and regional cooperation.
Organised by the Dictum Factum Youth Association, the festival remains committed to accelerate though leadership and conversations about reconciliation, identity, shared values and the role of young people in shaping a more inclusive future. Over the years, it has welcomed more than 5,000 participants from across the region, strengthening cultural exchange and lasting partnerships.
With the support of the European Union, Maglaj Spirit Weekend continues to grow as a recognised space for youth engagement and cross-border collaboration. By investing in cultural initiatives that empower young people, the EU helps create opportunities for the next generation to celebrate the region’s rich cultural heritage and work together towards a more resilient future for the Western Balkans.
