The project supports sustainable local economic development in Albania through the protection, management and valorisation of the Bylis–Klos Archaeological Park, one of the country's most important cultural heritage sites. Funded by the European Union and implemented by AICS in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and national cultural heritage institutions, the initiative combines cultural heritage preservation with tourism development and community empowerment.

The project finances conservation works, visitor infrastructure, capacity-building programmes, local development grants and institutional support for the park's governance. Through an integrated approach, it aims to improve the quality of tourism services, strengthen local entrepreneurship, create employment opportunities and enhance the participation of local communities in the sustainable use of cultural heritage. By linking heritage conservation with economic development, the project contributes to inclusive growth and increased attractiveness of the Mallakastër region as a cultural tourism destination.
