Albania
Albania is a candidate country for EU membership. The EU is Albania’s primary political and economic partner, and its largest donor and investor. To help the country progress on its EU path, the EU provides financial assistance in a wide range of areas – from agriculture to transport, green energy to support for entrepreneurs, and much more.
This goes hand-in-hand with support for improvements that are necessary to meet EU standards, in areas like the judiciary and public administration. In this way, EU is contributing to improve the quality of life and opportunities for Albania’s citizens.
