The EU4DigitalJustice project aims to strengthen the rule of law and increase trust in the justice system in Albania by enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of the judicial system through digitalisation, aligning with EU standards. The main beneficiaries of the project are the Centre for Information Technologies in the Justice Sector (IT Centre) and the General Prosecutor’s Office (GPO).

The project is structured around four primary outcomes:
Outcome 1: The IT Centre has advanced the implementation of the roadmap and the interoperability framework for the digitalisation of the justice system of Albania. Outcome 1 aims to strengthen the IT Centre’s capacity to lead Albania’s justice system digitalisation, focusing on implementing the digitalisation roadmap and interoperability framework.
Outcome 2: Case Management System for the General Prosecutor’s Offices established and functional. The project will establish a fully functional case management system (CMS) for Albania's Prosecutor's Offices, replacing the non-functional CAMS system and aligning with the interoperability framework and CEPEJ guidelines.
Outcome 3: Statistics and Business Intelligence system is established and functional. The project aims to establish a data warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) system to improve the efficiency and transparency of Albania's judiciary by facilitating the production and sharing of reliable statistics across institutions.
Outcome 4: Case Management System for the Special Structure against Corruption and Organised Crime of the Republic of Albania (hereinafter, “SPAK”) is extended and functional. This activity will aim to support modernising SPAK’s operations through supporting continuous implementation of its Case Management System (CMS) and establishing and enhancing the efficiency and interoperability of SPAK CMS.
