WeLead, EU Scheme for Young Professionals in the Western Balkans

Project Description

This initiative transforms young civil servants into architects of reform and innovation. By bridging borders and building a powerhouse professional network, we turn regional cooperation into a foundation for lasting reconciliation. Through hands-on learning and shared expertise, our participants don’t just study the EU accession process—they drive the Western Balkans’ journey toward a European future.

Specific Objective

• To improve knowledge and experience of the EU accession process acquired by the next generation of public administrators and policy makers in the Western Balkans.
• To enhance a stronger professional network between young public officials and between administrations.

Expected Results

• Enhanced regional connections among the young civil servants.
• Next-generation policy leaders' increased theoretical preparedness for EU integration.
• Young civil servants' increased practical experience on EU integration.
• Young civil servants' developed skills for EU integration.
• Knowledge sharing is enhanced regionally.
