Srbija je zemlja kandidat za članstvo u Evropskoj uniji. EU je glavni politički i ekonomski partner Srbije i najveći pružalac finansijske pomoći. Da bi podržali Srbiju na putu ka članstvu u Evropskoj uniji, EU i Srbija blisko sarađuju na ispunjavanju standarda EU. Ovo pokriva mnoga područja – od jačanja vladavine prava i suzbijanja korupcije, do unapređenja ljudskih prava i poslovnog okruženja.
Istovremeno, finansijska podrška EU u oblastima kao što su zaštita životne sredine, infrastruktura, konkurentnost poslovanja, obrazovanje, kultura, kao i u mnogim drugim, donosi korist i povoljne prilike za građane Srbije.
Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) invites media from the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia) to become host media in the One-Month Regional Exchange Programme during 2023 and/or 2024.

The purpose of this Challenge Call for Proposals is to support the implementation of innovative solutions for the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.
