Studying journalism in college, I developed a passion for the arts and culture and have seen around 700 films, a lot of them documentaries about minorities and ongoing changes in society. In return, they made me want to see the world and experience as many cultures as I can, which is why I went to the USA for the Work and Travel programme in 2019 and 2021. This experience solidified my desire to continue learning and growing and hopefully, making a change in a space closer to home as a YEA.
