Podgorica, 2 July 2025 – Young European Ambassadors from Montenegro: Vasilisa Batricevic, Iva Korovic, and Anton Gjolaj, joined the Western Balkans Cyber Security Conference 2025 (CYBERPULSE 2025) in Podgorica, engaging in high-level discussions on digital security, regional cooperation, and youth inclusion in cybersecurity efforts.
Organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the European Commission, in partnership with the Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C), the event brought together government officials, EU representatives, experts, and civil society to tackle the growing threat of cyberattacks in the region.
“Cybersecurity is not just about tech – it’s about trust, people, and partnerships,” said RCC Secretary General Amer Kapetanović, highlighting the 40% rise in cyber incidents and the urgent need for coordinated regional action.
The YEAs participated in key sessions on emerging technologies, AI, cyber skills, and cross-sector cooperation. “As young people, we are among the most active online, and it’s essential we are part of building a safer digital future,” said YEA Vasilisa Batricevic.
For Montenegro’s YEAs, CYBERPULSE 2025 was a unique opportunity to connect with experts and advocate for greater youth involvement in shaping the region’s digital resilience.
