In celebration of the European Day of Languages, ambassadors for Kosovo from several European countries, including the new EU ambassador for Kosovo Aivo Orav, and ambassadors from Germany, Belgium, Romania, Croatia, Finland, Austria gathered for an event aimed at promoting linguistic diversity and cross-cultural understanding. The event took place at Eqrem Qabej School, where students and guests explored the significance of multilingualism within Europe.

Each ambassador chose one class with students of the high school and shared insights on the importance of language learning in fostering European unity and cooperation. They discussed how multilingualism contributes to greater cultural understanding and international collaboration. The event concluded with a visit to Eqrem Qabej School’s ‘Wall of Languages,’ a special exhibit that honors the diversity of languages spoken by students and staff. The wall serves as a reminder of linguistic diversity’s richness to education and society.
