During the International Day fair on 22 May at the University of Regensburg, YEA Jovana Jaćimović took the lead at the Europaeum (East-West center) stand, turning it into a vibrant space for cultural exchange and youth engagement.
The stand, packed with posters, flyers, branded pens, and info about the WeBalkans network and Europaeum’s activities, quickly became a hotspot. With two interactive quizzes- one on the Balkans, one on Europe- and a sweet reward of traditional Balkan treats, Jovana sparked genuine interest and meaningful conversations with students.
Her passion and enthusiasm drew a steady crowd, helping promote the upcoming workshop “The Balkans: Stability for Europe”, set for 9 July. The result? The first 14 registrations confirmed- right there at the stand.
A fun, friendly, and purposeful afternoon that brought Europe a little closer to the Balkans.
