Arijel Kurtagić

My name is Arijel and I am a 21-year-old student and researcher at International Burch University.

I am a youth worker, activist, and a human right activist from Bihać. I am currently President of the European Youth Parliament in BiH and a Board Member of the Youth Bank in Bihać. As a Youth Advisor to the British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, I was an important voice people with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through sharing my story in the Bosnian media, I was sharing the message that “people with disabilities are not missing society, but rather – missing in society”.
