Vojislav Gluščević, a student of International Relations and International Security at the University of Donja Gorica, was born on February 3, 2004, in Nikšić, Montenegro. He completed his primary education in Nikšić, while simultaneously graduating from the Primary Music School “Dara Čokorilo”. During nine years of musical education, he won more than thirty awards and recognitions at national and international competitions. He completed his secondary education at the “Stojan Cerović” Grammar School in Nikšić, after which he began his undergraduate studies at the University of Donja Gorica in September 2023.
During his studies, he has demonstrated exceptional academic dedication, for which he received recognition as the best first-year student. As part of his academic development, he spent one semester at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg at the Department of Political Science, where he further developed his interest in international relations, European integration, and contemporary political processes.
He actively participates in numerous international conferences, seminars, and forums dealing with issues of security, European integration, and contemporary global challenges. Among them are the NATO Youth Summit, the 2BS Forum, the Europe Summit in Salzburg, EU Future Talks, and the International Forum on Education and Climate. He has also taken part in programs such as the School of EU Negotiations, the School of Transitional Justice, and the Global Leadership and Culture Exchange program in China, through which he further expanded his knowledge and international perspective.
His engagement within the academic and social community is reflected through active participation in various student and youth organizations. He is a member of the Student Forum of the University of Donja Gorica and the Students’ Business Center, where he contributes to the implementation of numerous projects and initiatives aimed at the development of the student community. He is also a member of YATA Montenegro, an organization operating within the Atlantic Council of Montenegro. His engagement in the Red Cross of Montenegro is particularly notable, where he served for two years as President of the Youth Club, actively participating in humanitarian and community-oriented activities. In addition, he is a member of the Scouts of Montenegro.
During his studies, he also gained diverse work experience in an international environment, including work in the tourism and hospitality sector in Montenegro and the United States, where he worked for Allen Marine Tours in Alaska. This experience contributed to the development of his organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as his ability to work in multicultural environments.
In addition to his academic and professional engagement, he actively practices sports and outdoor activities. His interests particularly include hiking, diving, and various sports activities.
