Equality and fair society

Job creation, ensuring decent work and social protection are core goals for the EU. And this is reflected in EU support to the Western Balkans. But despite much investment, funding and technical assistance, big gaps between remain. Weak competitiveness, high unemployment, under-investment in education and health and social inequalities are just some of the challenges.
