#YEStoYEA
The Sarajevo Film Festival, which was established in Sarajevo in 1995, is the foremost and largest film festival in Southeast Europe and one of the biggest in Europe overall. Every year, it attracts both international and local celebrities to Sarajevo. The festival takes place in August and presents a wide range of feature and short films from around the world.
For the second year in a row, the Young European Ambassadors will have the opportunity to participate in the Human Rights Day program. The Human Rights Day program is dedicated to exploring topics such as human rights, youth, peacebuilding, and regional cooperation, all through the lens of film and filmmaking. Similar to last year, the YEAs will have the chance to take part in various workshops, panel discussions, and masterclasses featuring individuals from diverse backgrounds such as politics, journalism, youth policy, and, of course, film and filmmaking.
This year, YEAs will also organize their own panel discussion on the topic of regional youth cooperation. The festival will take place from August 11th to 18th in Sarajevo, and of course, you will be able to follow the participation of the YEAs on the official WeBalkans profiles!
