Tringa Thaqi is a Young European Ambassador from Kosovo and a Law graduate, with a strong focus on the rule of law, good governance and youth participation in policymaking. Her academic work includes the research paper “Lifelong Maintenance Contract in Kosovo: Regulatory Framework, Implementation, and Judicial Challenges,” the first comprehensive study of its kind in the country, contributing to the national legal and policy discourse. She has complemented her academic background with practical experience through several internships in public institutions, most recently at the Basic Court of Pristina, where she gained direct insight into judicial practice and institutional functioning. In parallel, Tringa is actively engaged in youth policy and civic participation. She serves as Coordinator of the Rule of Law and Good Governance Team at the Youth Council within the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, General Secretary of the Youth Assembly of Kosovo and a member of the UN Youth Task Force. She has contributed to and supported the organization of various youth-focused initiatives, including the UN Youth Assembly in Kosovo, the Kosovo Youth Event (KYE) – Second Edition and programs such as the “YouthIn for Gender Equality Fundamentals” Bootcamp. Through her work, she remains committed to empowering young people, strengthening democratic values and supporting Kosovo’s European perspective.
