To be real activists, young people in today’s world really have to master the art of public speaking, in order to lead, motivate and inspire. What better place to do that than a TEDx Youth event? So, for the first time, our YEAs are going to participate in the biggest TedxYouth activity in the Western Balkans – TEDxYouth@MarijinDvor.

This event is going to be organized on 11 February in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name of this year’s event is called „Reinventing the Future”, where 15 of our YEAs, from all WB6 partners, will be present, both as speakers, participants and some as lead organisers. Our YEAs will also be addressing some of the important issues for youth: Ivana Srećković will devote her topic to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, while Anastasija Djordja Bosancic will provide insight into the youth’s perspective on democracy and the importance of providing the youth with a seat at the table. Stefan Vukmanovic will discuss youth involvement in politics and the exploration of innovation in that sphere for the new generations, while Fatbardh Kabashi will tell us how to start a Social Enterprise at the age of 16. The audience will have the opportunity to listen to many more different speeches on the topics of youth, research and innovation, environment, and entrepreneurship.
