YEA present: Viola Maksuti

During this event, Viola had the privilege of witnessing the recognition of three outstanding investigative reports written by Kosovo journalists. More than 30 participants were present, including the EU Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav.

The three winning entries addressed critical issues such as gender-based violence, corruption, and nepotism. These topics reflect the important role of journalism in holding power to account and addressing societal challenges.

The event was highly anticipated, and the EU’s support for local journalists served as a strong motivator, contributing to the advancement and perseverance of democracy in Kosovo.
