The Techstars Startup Weekend FinTech Skopje 2025 brought together young entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts to explore innovation in financial technology. YEAs Ana Kjupeva, Emina Balota, and Kejvin Jaku, represented the Young European Ambassadors network in this flagship regional event and contributed with their creativity and leadership.
Over three days, participants followed the Techstars format, turning ideas into prototypes through collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on work. The weekend began with idea pitches and team formation, bringing together developers, designers, economists, and marketing students. On the second day, teams developed their concepts with guidance from industry mentors, while motivational talks inspired bold thinking and problem-solving. On the final day, participants presented their fintech solutions to a judging panel from ProCredit Bank, Mastercard, and the entrepreneurial community.
As Young European Ambassadors, Ana, Emina, and Kejvin helped design a platform promoting financial literacy and responsible money management for youth. The event highlighted the power of creativity, teamwork, and innovation, demonstrating how young people can contribute to a more financially aware and resilient society.
