Valentina Ostojić

My name is Valentina Ostojić and I’m 23 years old. I hold a bachelor (BSc) and specialist (spec.sci) degree from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Montenegro, in the field of international affairs. I attended the Institute for Political Studies at the University of Heidelberg for one semester through the Erasmus exchange programme, as well as the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana for one year through a bilateral scholarship program. During my studies, I worked as a public policy research associate at the Institute Alternative research centre and also as a policy-making associate at the executive office of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro. I have been a double-scholarship holder at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and have received a four-year scholarship from the Government of Montenegro (scholarship for excellence). I also received the Best Student Award from the faculty in Podgorica. I’m very passionate about debating, rhetoric and communication, and I used to be president of the University of Montenegro debating club “Agora”.
During 2020/2021 I was a Local Coordinator for Slovenia within the Organizations of Montenegrins Studying Abroad.
I’m currently a second-year master’s student of International Business at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana.
