International Relations, Human Rights
I was born and raised in the city of Prishtina. My deep interest in understanding human nature and its development, both in the individual and collective aspect, encouraged me to study history. I am currently finishing my bachelor degree in this field at the University of Prishtina. During my studies, I was awarded with the Ministry of Education’s Student of Excellence scholarship based on my academic achievements. Apart from my academic engagement, i am actively involved in youth initiatives. I have regularly attended in seminars and workshops organized by NGOs or institutions that aim to promote EU integration, regional cooperation and human rights. Particularly noteworthy is my collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as part of their scholarship program.
As a young historian, i am also very passionate about philosophy and politics. It is my belief that Kosovo should form its future with the same ideas that are engraved in the Western civilization. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have been deeply committed to promoting the cross-cultural values that lie at the heart of the European Union. Those being democracy, liberty, equality, rule of law and free market economy. My experience as a YEA has equipped me with a strong foundation in these relevant topics. It made me competent to engage with fellow youngsters in meaningful projects or discussions that contribute to the cultural and political development of my country and the wider Western Balkan region. Thus, bringing it day by day closer to the big European family.
