Tarik Bičo

My name is Tarik Bičo. I’m 24, and I come from Sarajevo. I am a graduate student from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, at the Department of Production and Management. Since 2016, following the completion of an 11-year professional career in karate, I’ve been shaping my long-standing hobby of photography and cinematography into a somewhat more professional orientation – towards new media and the creation of short content for social networks. In addition to other skills and interests that I’ve developed through my studies at the academy, I have produced content for social media, actively studied new media formats, and, in this context, experimented with my student work on the one hand, and with commercial projects on the other. I’m currently working on my graduation film, which is scheduled to begin in mid-October. In the long run, I intend to gather the best creative minds in Bosnia and Herzegovina to create a platform – together with individuals who understand the concept of new media, and new aesthetic approaches to video – in this part of Europe.
