EU INTEGRATION, HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
My name is Mila Mladenova and I am a 22-year-old medical student enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. I am a founder and vice president of Youth Empowerment Association, a civil society organisation which aims to promote youth participation and active citizenship in order to achieve better youth policies & greater involvement of the young population in the decision-making process.
Additionally, I am a scholar of the German political think tank foundation Konrad Adenauer with a goal to promote freedom & liberty, peace and justice through furthering European unification, improving transatlantic relations, and deepening development cooperation.
Furthermore, I am the Erasmus+ student coordinator at the Faculty of Medicine and a community mobiliser as part of the project “Support to Electoral Reforms in North Macedonia”. Lastly, I was selected as a Macedonian member of the Youth Advisory Group of the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS), a unique leadership opportunity with a key role in expanding the knowledge and resources for designing and implementing youth-led programs & social media awareness campaigns.
I have profound experience organizing and participating in numerous national and international development programmes, initiatives and projects highlighting health, entrepreneurship, environment and sustainability, youth participation & promotion of EU values.
