International Relations, Human Rights
My name is Jehona PNISHI. I was born and raised in Kosovo. At the age of 15, I left Kosovo to live permanently in France with my family.
Leaving my country was a particularly difficult ordeal, but which paradoxically gave me the opportunity to start a new life with new perspectives.
This painful ordeal was at the origin of my first belief as an adult: « it is really possible to be reborn from the ashes. »
In my personal life, I am greatly passionate about singing and theater, which I continue to perfect daily.
My friends say of me that I am stubborn, generous, honest, strong-willed and loyal.
In my professional life, I have a degree in public affairs. I am very involved in structures that fight for human rights, equality and equity.
I fervently fight and condemn injustice in all its forms.
My ambition is to contribute, on my scale, to a fairer and sustainable world.
I am convinced that the ills of our society are not fatalities, but political choices.
That’s why I aspire to get involved politically and contribute to the laws process that will allow us to move towards a more promising future.
I believe that life is a school where everyone remains master and student at the same time.
And if there’s one thing you can’t change my mind about, it’s my belief that « kindness is the nobility of intelligence. »
