HUMAN RIGHTS, EU INTEGRATION
My name is Iva Naskova, I’m a 20-year-old student at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, where I study Political Science in English, and I’m from North Macedonia. During secondary school, I took part in numerous sports and volunteering activities for protecting the environment because I was eager to bring about change. This is partly why I’ve never been tied to only one thing. I was a representative in the Faculty Student Assembly, and later, part of the Science Committee of the University Student Assembly.
I’m currently writing a manual on discrimination at University level, which aims to educate students about what discrimination really is. I have participated in a large number of Council of Europe projects in different countries, especially with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, but I am most proud of my participation in the Regional Youth Peace Lab, with RYCO, UN PBF, the UNDP and UNFPA, where we won second place for best policy proposal on Education by the Expert Jury, which is published in the WB6 Youth Policy Book.
