Isak Misini

Currently, I am the best student of my generation at the University American College-Skopje, where I am completing an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Faculty of Political Science. At 21 years old, I am the youngest participant to be selected in a Presidential School of Politics, as part of Macedonian President’s second generation of Presidential School attendees. In 2018, I was named National Debate Champion. Currently, I am the Head of Operations and Vice-President for the Skopje local committee of AIESEC. I am the author, director, and producer of a documentary on statelessness in North Macedonia, as well as the author of a published column on statelessness. My essay on statelessness was selected by the UNHCR as the best for World Refugee Day 2022. I was an intern at the European Association for Local Democracy. As a human rights advocate, I had the privilege of working for five months on a project addressing both gender and minority rights in North Macedonia, focusing on women and the harmful traditions present in Roma community.
