Ena Porča

My name is Ena Porča. I am 19 years old and a student of Political Science and International Relations on SSST, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have finished primary music school and I have been a member of a female youth choir “Chorus Cadenza” ever since. We were the first choir in BiH to compete on the European Music Festival for Young People in Belgium and to win the first place.

I have been attending art school “Ex Artis” for eight years now in which, every year, my paintings and sculptures are exhibited.

I am very much involved in all school activities that are related to painting, drawing, photography, journalism, writing and singing.

In 2019, I participated in an US Embassy program called “Youth Leadership Program”. We spent an entire month in the United States of America, developing our leadership skills, critical thinking, civic engagement and learning about democracy and what it means for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because of this journey, I am now the founder and organizer of the first ever TEDxYouth in Sarajevo and entire BiH going by the name of TEDxYouth@Ferhadija. I am the youngest grant holder for BOLD program by the US embassy.

I was a part of a project called “Ja bih EU” and as well a part of the competition, BBI League of Negotiation where five Sarajevo schools are involved. I am always looking for opportunities and chances for my voice to be heard and to create a difference.
