Originally from Sarajevo, Ena is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Economics at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria. Passionate about youth activism, peace and human rights education, and intercultural dialogue, she has progressed from volunteering in local NGOs to founding initiatives such as one of Sarajevo’s first Model United Nations conferences and the BRIDGE program at the UNESCO Center for Peace. She has also contributed to organizing TEDx Sarajevo, served on the Youth Advisory Board of the Embassy of Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and facilitated the Council of Europe’s Youth Peace Camp as its youngest community facilitator.

Through her work with the UNESCO Center for Peace, Ena has connected with people from across the globe, earning recognition from the State of Maryland and a U.S. Congress Certificate of Congressional Recognition. As a Young European Ambassador, she aims to empower young people to think critically, embrace diversity, and build bridges between cultures, providing access to opportunities for growth, especially for those who have not had the chance before.
