Biography

“My name is Anastasija, and I am a 20-year-old individual hailing from Gradiška, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Novi Sad.
As an activist and youth leader, my primary interests are environment and human rights. Consequently, I have spearheaded numerous community projects focusing on these issues, while also dedicating my time to volunteering for causes such as sports inclusion, first aid, and youth engagement.
In 2023, I was honored with the Volunteer of the Year award for the Republic of Srpska. I have actively participated in various training sessions covering topics including environmental protection, media literacy, project management, and EU integration. Moreover, I have served as both a participant and a speaker at EYE 2023 and engaged in multiple youth exchanges. In 2023, leveraging my skills as a journalist, I authored educational articles to inspire and educate individuals on my core areas of interest. Additionally, as the Public Relations Manager of the youth organization “”Most,”” I contributed to online campaigns highlighting the importance of volunteerism.
My role as a Youth Advisor for the UK Ambassador’s Youth Advisers’ Group further underscored the significance of using my voice to initiate change. As a student of industrial engineering, I have actively participated in numerous student-led projects aimed at enhancing informal education in technical sciences.
My overarching goal is to empower and amplify the voices of our generation, catalyzing positive change in society.
