I’m Aida Fejzullahu, a master’s student of Health Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest. I grew up in Pristina, Kosovo and I moved to Turkey for my bachelor’s studies in 2015. During my time at the University of Hacettepe in Turkey, I had the opportunity to work with different university organisations and participated in various volunteering activities, where I had the chance to experience how different organisations function. I began working as an intern for a youth project developed by Global Communities and USAID, and then as an executive assistant to the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport of the Republic of Kosovo. Having the chance to assist and gain first-hand experience of the workings of such an institution made me even more interested in the field of politics and policy implementation. As a student of Economics, I’m always seeking to raise my awareness about economic, health and youth issues in the region and I enjoy being introduced to new people.
