RYCO is organizing a series of consultative meetings at local and regional levels regarding the development of the new Strategic Plan 2025-2027. The YEAs were invited as RYCO wanted to ensure that the contributions and needs of young people and of key actors working with and for youth, are reflected by the Plan.

The consultations consisted of activists and youth workers from all over Kosovo. During the first part, topics such as social and economic issues, political landscape and government, civil society and media, educational institutions, regional alignment and reconciliation, were discussed. The second part consisted of activists giving input on RYCO’s interventions and their short-term, intermediate and long-term outcomes.

As a YEA, Amina Kaja, was in the role of participant and contributed through comments and critiques, especially in the fields of regional alignment, reconciliation and civil society. She used this opportunity to present the work the YEA network is doing exactly within these fields. Overall, the importance of youth workers and their networks, institutional support, education, sustainable economy and democratic governance, were highlighted.
