YEAs Contribute to River Cleanup Initiative in Albania
In a proactive demonstration of their commitment to environmental stewardship, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Albania actively participated in the River Clean Up Day event held in Kurbin on November 18, organized by the EU Delegation to Albania. Three dedicated YEAs from Albania enthusiastically engaged in this collective endeavor, successfully removing approximately one ton of urban waste from the banks of the Mati River. Beyond the physical cleanup, they also deepened their understanding of the profound impact that individual choices can have on the planet, thanks to a thought-provoking discussion on “Building an Environmentally Sustainable Future.” The YEAs who played a pivotal role in this initiative were Jursi Temali, Rexhina Pelivani, and Stjuart Islamaj.
