Rita Behadini

My name is Rita Behadini and I am a TV presenter, journalist and women’s rights activist. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics, and I have always had a passion for journalism. During my studies, I worked on issues related to gender equality, which allowed me to expand my knowledge in the field of journalism. This environment presented challenges that had positive effects on my further development as an objective and unbiased reporter. During my time at university, I was hired as a journalist for Portalb. After a year, I decided to take a job opportunity to be a presenter and journalist on Alsat-M Television, where I am currently working. Some of my most important work focuses on gender equality, which is why I decided to found the non-governmental organization, Centre for Equal Opportunities ‘Ladybug’. I am also the Editor-in-Chief of Mollekuqja.mk, which is the first media portal in Albanian language that writes exclusively about gender-related topics.
