My name is Nikola and I am a lawyer, youth worker, and storyteller from Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a jurist with experience in the field of law, the media and the non-governmental sector, I try to find new models for cooperation with young people. As a youth community leader, I have been honoured to be part of groups such as EDYN and the OSCE Youth Advisory Group. My youth work evolved from activism to working in an umbrella youth organization. There, I strive to improve the position of young people, develop stronger regional cooperation, and question the problems of marginalized groups. I currently work in the IT sector, but I dedicate my free time to working with young people and volunteering in various non-governmental organizations in Sarajevo. Thanks to many years of dancing and other forms of creative expression, I developed new techniques and tools, games and learning concepts. I published a collection of short stories ‘Nesavršena’ (‘Imperfect’), and authored several research papers and policy briefs.
