Lejla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic and Multimedia Design from the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is completing a Master’s degree in Marketing Management at the University of Sarajevo. Over the past seven years, she has worked at the intersection of communications, design, and project implementation, collaborating with the United Nations Development Programme on initiatives that strengthen governance, social cohesion, and community development.

Driven by a passion for visual storytelling and strategic communications, Lejla has led outreach campaigns, built partnerships with media and government institutions, and developed inclusive content that amplifies diverse voices. She has contributed to projects such as Economic Governance for Growth and Sustaining Peace and Social Cohesion, engaging directly with communities, organizing events, and supporting initiatives that empower citizens.

Committed to youth engagement and volunteerism, Lejla joined the Young European Ambassadors network to connect with peers across the Western Balkans, exchange creative ideas, and apply her skills in communication and design to foster unity, mutual understanding, and community development across the region.
