Human rights and education - Youth empowerment
Nevena Jovanović is a student at the Faculty of Information Systems and Technology at the University of Donja Gorica. She is defined by a deep love for working with young people, a commitment to self-improvement, and a strong desire to help future generations live in a better country.
Her passion for youth activism began in high school, where she was involved with the High School Students Union and served as a U-Report Ambassador with UNICEF. That passion continued to grow through her work with the Youth Network and various NGOs.
As a university student, Nevena broadened her academic and cultural perspective by studying abroad at the University of Central Missouri (USA) and the University of Valladolid (Spain). Her long-standing interest in marketing, sparked in high school, remains active. She currently manages her university’s social media and contributes to projects focused on marketing and youth engagement.
Though her studies are not solely technology-focused, Nevena chose her faculty to develop adaptable, future-ready skills, equipping her to thrive in an ever-changing world.
