Opening the call for new Young European Ambassadors network members on 1st October could only mean one thing – our YEAs are setting off on a journey across the entire Western Balkans to inform young people about this exciting new opportunity for personal growth!
Throughout October, while the call was open, YEAs organised 46 info sessions and visited more than 30 local communities across the Western Balkans. During these sessions, YEAs shared stories about their work, their shared mission, and the future of YEAs as the most influential communicators in the region.
From Tirana to Teslić, Ferizaj to Veles, Ulcinj to Pančevo, YEAs not only motivated young people to join the YEA network but also encouraged them to actively engage in their local communities, participate in social life, and organise various activities. In doing so, they helped develop both themselves and their communities, spreading positive stories from their surroundings.
The info days attracted more than 1250 young people from all around the region, resulting in over 340 applications from enthusiastic candidates eager to join the network. Now, we are eagerly awaiting the beginning of December to see who will be selected as the newest members of the Young European Ambassadors Network.
