YEAs go to the EU-Balkan youth forum, in Rome
The EU-Balkan youth forum will be held in Rome, Italy 22-26 November 2021. Based on a proposal of the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, the EU-Balkan forum called for by the Regional Cooperation Council (Sarajevo), the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (Tirana), the Study Centre for International Politics (Rome) and Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa (Trento) and funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is an opportunity for youth from the entire continent to discuss common issues, face policymakers and mobilise new energies from below, facilitating the emergence of a young transnational network to engineer new initiatives and bring about fresh views on both the EU and Balkan integration.
The Young European Ambassadors network is a natural partner organisation of young people eager to support and promote the EU enlargement process. The discussion will be based on five working groups, all connected to the question “What Is Europe?” i.e.: how do we define it, how do we decide what is “identity”, who is in and who is out, what are the common values?
During the event, YEAs will feature in the roles of junior moderators to the working groups, but also as participants of this unique event. Stay tuned and follow WeBalkans social media channels for more information on the event!
