Aleksandra Mirimanov has finished the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, three years of education in Integrative art psychotherapy, and an alternative educational program by the Center of women’s studies from Belgrade.
Before REWOMEN project, she has developed the project “Towards the other – the art of invisible” supported by the Foundation “Novi Sad 2022, ECC” in which she collaborated with users of psychiatric services and NGO “Patrija”.
Besides REWOMEN project she is developing a project for youngsters on children’s rights.
Exhibitions or projects Aleksandra recommends at the European Capital of Culture Novi Sad:
– ЕYE.net 2.0) Socially engaged Youth Theatre Festival on topics such as antifascism, migrant crisis, feminism, ecology, fake news
– Invasion (Upad) socially engaged theatre festival where youngsters are selectors of theatre plays
– Know Your Rights – youth exchange
– The Autonomous Festival of Women (AFŽ) – Media Labyrinth exhibition about propaganda manipulation techniques
– Rally – Alternative History of Europe – there is an open call now for all youngsters to participate
TV shows or movies Aleksandra recommends as must-see:
MAID, Persepolis, Breadwinner. The last two can be watched with children – tweenagers.
