Sara Risteska

My name is Sara Risteska and I’m a political scientist by vocation and youth activist by heart.
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Department for International Relations, European Integration and Diplomacy and I’m currently part of several NGOs, such as the National Youth Council of Macedonia, the Global Shapers Skopje Hub and the European Youth Association.
Inspired by the motto “We cannot always build the future for the youth, but we can always build the youth for the future” , as an activist in the NGO sector I work with different target groups, with young people as my main focus. As a youth leader I want to challenge the status quo and to remind everyone that young people are leaders of today, not of tomorrow.
My educational background , my active civic engagement and my dedication as a Young European Ambassador have enabled me to excel professionally, both on national and regional level.
