The European Union (EU), with the help from the Office of the United Nations for project services (UNOPS), responded to the request and secured 32 freezers and 33 refrigerators for 26 medical institutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The value of this donation is nearly \u20ac 490,000.\u00a0 \u201cWe donated millions of items of personal protective equipment (facemasks, suits, gloves), 140 triage containers, respirators, oxygen concentrators, 32 fully equipped ambulance cars and special vehicles for decontamination, and finally, the hiring of 200 Serbian healthcare workers in July, were all made possible thanks to the EU.
