{"id":685902,"date":"2022-06-30T19:09:01","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T17:09:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/?p=685902"},"modified":"2022-07-05T19:09:52","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T17:09:52","slug":"winners-of-the-regional-butterfly-innovation-award-announced-in-tirana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/en\/news\/winners-of-the-regional-butterfly-innovation-award-announced-in-tirana\/","title":{"rendered":"Winners of the Regional Butterfly Innovation Award announced in Tirana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regional Butterfly Innovation Awards were given to six winning innovation ideas from the region at a ceremony in Tirana on 28 June.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-The winners of the first Regional Butterfly Innovation Awards are:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-Industry Innovation Award:\u00a0Orjon Rroji, Albania<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-University Innovation Award: \u00a0TiPy-AIR University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-Green Innovation Award:\u00a0GoBeyond, Kosovo<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-Youth Innovation Award:\u00a0GuesTool, Montenegro<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-Women\u2019s Innovation Award:\u00a0WISE Group, North Macedonia<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-STEM (science, mathematics, engineering and technology) Innovation Award:\u00a0BIOIRC, Serbia<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All winners will get an opportunity to promote their solution through the RCC\u2019s network of contacts and media presence, receive technical mentorship support with \u20ac5000 and a chance to meet potential additional investors. The award ceremony, co-organised by the RCC and the European Commission, took place on the side-lines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Western Balkans Steering Platform on Research and Innovation and Education and Training, hosted by the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The award ceremony is a highlight of a longer process that was officially launched last December during the Butterfly Innovation and Business Forum.
