{"id":610074,"date":"2022-05-26T10:00:14","date_gmt":"2022-05-26T08:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/?p=610074"},"modified":"2022-05-26T10:00:53","modified_gmt":"2022-05-26T08:00:53","slug":"new-call-for-young-european-ambassadors-is-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webalkans.eu\/en\/news\/new-call-for-young-european-ambassadors-is-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"New call for Young European Ambassadors is now open!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new Call for Applications for Young European Ambassadors was launched on 20 May at webalkans.eu<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Young European Ambassadors (YEA) platform is a creative network of young activists from across the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia). YEAs come from different backgrounds, yet they all share a common vision: the Western Balkans united in diversity. They learn about each other and the EU together, pursue creative projects, acquire new skills, connect via social media, and organise inspiring events \u2013 always driven by the idea that activism in youth is the most powerful force of social change.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aims of the network are to share EU values; to raise awareness about the EU\u2019s cooperation with its Western Balkan partners; to showcase the tangible results of this cooperation; to contribute to policy dialogue on various topics; and to help increase civic activism. A Young European Ambassador is a young activist who sees herself or himself as a good communicator, eager to share EU values, and to participate in projects and events related to EU integration, environment protection, human rights, arts and culture, and new technologies.
