This project, supported under the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) \u00a0contributes to establishing the regional power network that would connect the electricity transmission systems from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Italy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Last week, a loan agreement for the WBIF project<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/wbif.eu\/project\/PRJ-SRB-ENE-007\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trans-Balkan Electricity Corridor: Obrenovac \u2013 Bajina Ba\u0161ta Grid Section in Serbia\u00a0<\/a>was signed by the Minister of Mining and Energy<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Zorana Mihajlovi\u0107<\/strong><b>,<\/b> European Integration Minister<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Jadranka Joksimovi\u0107<\/strong><b>,<\/b> Director of Serbian Electricity Transmission System Operator (EMS JSC<b>)<\/b><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Jelena Mateji\u0107<\/strong><b>,<\/b> and the Head of the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kfw-entwicklungsbank.de\/Internationale-Finanzierung\/KfW-Entwicklungsbank\/\">KfW Bank<\/a><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Office in Serbia,<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>R\u00fcdiger Hartmann<\/strong><b>. <\/b>The German Ambassador to Belgrade,<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Thomas Schieb<\/strong>, also attended the event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The construction of the Trans-Balkan Electricity Corridor is one of the flagship projects under the\u00a0EU&#8217;s Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans.
