In Serbia, homeowners will be able to improve the energy efficiency of their homes thanks to a new credit line equivalent to \u20ac10 million provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.erstebank.rs\/sr\/Stanovnistvo\/Krediti\/kredit-za-energetsku-efikasnost-iz-ebrd-linije\">Erste Bank<\/a>. \u00a0In North Macedonia, more homeowners will be able to invest in domestic energy efficiency improvements, thanks to a new \u20ac2\u00a0million credit line that the EBRD is extending to<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohridskabanka.mk\/about.nspx\">Ohridska Banka<\/a>.\n\n&nbsp;\n\n<\/div>\n<div>\n\nThe lenders will provide these funds to help people install renewable and energy efficient measures in their homes, such insulated windows, heat pumps and solar panels. The cashback offers an extra incentive.\n\n&nbsp;\n\n<\/div>\n<div>\n\nThe financing is part of a larger \u20ac135 million<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ebrdgeff.com\/macedonia_facilities\/\">Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF)<\/a><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>programme for the Western Balkans, which supports businesses and homeowners wishing to invest in green technologies. The programme is supported by the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/who-we-are\/structure-and-management\/shareholders\/european-union.html\">European Union<\/a>, the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wbif.eu\/\">Western Balkans Investment Framework<\/a> and the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/who-we-are\/structure-and-management\/shareholders\/austria.html+\">Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance<\/a>.
